THE B-SIDE

Away from robots and papers, I spend my time with music, films, football, and the outdoors.

Music

I play the guitar—mostly fingerstyle and classical, as well as acoustic guitar and vocals, with a little electric guitar on the side. I am especially drawn to rock and indie music, particularly post-punk, post-rock, instrumental rock, and Britpop. Some of my favourite artists are Suede, Deserts Chang, and Wang Wen.

I'm currently listening to Dakota by Stereophonics

Films

I love watching films. To me, film is neither purely an art of narrative nor an exercise in philosophical speculation. It reveals something about life not by offering answers or solutions, but by allowing us to encounter possibilities before we live them.

Cinema Paradiso and A City of Sadness are among my favourite films. My favourite directors include Hou Hsiao-hsien and Éric Rohmer.

I'm currently watching David Lynch's Twin Peaks and really enjoy it!

Football

I enjoy playing football and have been a loyal Liverpool supporter since 2017. My favourite player is Mohamed Salah.

Outdoors

I love nature and travelling. Whenever I can, I enjoy stepping away from familiar routines, spending time outdoors, and discovering new places at a slower pace.
